In the final of the 2017-18 BPL season, Rangpur Rangers defeated the Dhaka Dynamites by 57 runs and won their first BPL title. Along with numerous records, Chris Gayle of Rangpur Rangers was named the final’s man of the match, as well as player of the series, whereas with 485 runs Gayle of the Rangpur Rangers was also the most runs scorer of the 2017-18 season.
